The state ranks third in the country for natural gas output, is the 27th most agriculturally productive state, and is fifth in wheat production. Oklahoma is home to four Fortune 500 firms and six Fortune 1000 companies, and it has been named one of the most business-friendly states in the country, having the seventh-lowest tax burden in 2007.
